Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is off to the United States to train for his December fight against Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao will spend six weeks at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles taking off from his initial training in General Santos City.

There’s cause for concern in the Manny Pacquiao camp these days.

Although the always proud Pacquiao never would admit he’s worried about his slippage in his past three fights, his words and actions during the media tour for his Dec. 8 fight vs. Juan Manuel Marquez suggest as much.

This will be Pacquiao’s fourth fight against Marquez, 39, and he has two narrow victories and a draw to show for the first three. If you ask Marquez and many ringside observers of those fights, the ring-smart veteran from Mexico City could be 3-0 and would seem to have Pacquiao’s number.

Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez have already sold 13,000 tickets for their December 8 matchup at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to a recent press release from Top Rank, who are promoting the fight. HBO pay-per-view will broadcast the bout.

This is the fourth fight between the two future Hall of Fame fighters. From the tickets sales it appears that, although people in the media have criticized this fight, the fans are still interested.
